Also called sonography, an ultrasound is a diagnostic medical procedure used to examine many parts of the body such as the abdomen, breasts, prostate, heart and blood vessels. By using high-frequency sound waves, visual images of organs, tissues, or blood flow inside the body are produced. This procedure is non-invasive and involves no radiation.

NERVE CONDUCTION STUDY
Neurological tests are important in diagnosing problems related to the brain, spinal cord and nerves and muscles in our extremeties. This specialized testing is available at Lifecare.

BONE DENSITY SCAN
A simple non-invasive test, now completed in our office, allows patients to receive scans in 15-20 minutes that evaluate their bones for osteoporosis.
